Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM)

What is Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) and who is it applied to?

In our Traditional and Complementary Medicine (T&CM) department, which serves your health with a holistic approach, we use natural and complementary treatment methods supported by modern medicine not only to treat diseases, but also to improve quality of life by supporting the body’s own healing capacity.

The treatments applied in our department are planned individually by specialist physicians in light of scientific data. The T&CM approach addresses physical, mental, and emotional balance together and aims to improve the individual’s overall health.

Ozone Therapy

Ozone therapy is the use of ozone gas, which consists of three oxygen atoms, for medical purposes. As a powerful oxygen carrier, ozone supports the body’s regeneration at the cellular level. This method is preferred particularly for strengthening the immune system, as supportive treatment for chronic diseases, and for increasing energy levels.

One of the most important effects of ozone therapy is that it allows more oxygen to reach the tissues. Thanks to increased oxygenation, cellular metabolism accelerates, the elimination of toxins becomes easier, and healing processes speed up. At the same time, ozone contributes to the fight against free radicals by activating powerful antioxidant systems.

This treatment method may be applied as a supportive therapy in chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, diabetes, circulatory disorders, weakened immune system, and certain infectious diseases. It is also preferred by athletes due to its performance-enhancing effects and its ability to accelerate the recovery process.

Ozone therapy can be performed using different techniques such as major autohemotherapy (via the blood), local applications, and intramuscular injections. All procedures are carried out under sterile conditions, with patient safety as the top priority.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is an effective treatment method based on the administration of specially prepared mixtures of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and medications into the skin through micro-injections. It has a wide range of uses for both aesthetic and medical purposes.

The aim of this method is to achieve maximum benefit by acting directly on the area to be treated. One of the important advantages of mesotherapy is that effective results can be achieved with lower doses compared to systemic medication. At the same time, thanks to local application, the risk of side effects is minimized.

In addition to aesthetic applications such as hair loss treatment, skin rejuvenation, pigmentation treatment, cellulite, and regional slimming, mesotherapy is also used for musculoskeletal pain, sports injuries, and circulatory disorders. Hair mesotherapy in particular nourishes the hair follicles, reducing hair loss and supporting healthier hair growth.

In skin mesotherapy, formulations prepared according to the skin’s needs help maintain moisture balance, increase elasticity, and provide a more radiant appearance. Regular sessions result in visible renewal and revitalization of the skin.

Mesotherapy is performed in sessions planned according to the person’s needs and generally allows a quick return to daily life. In this respect, it is a practical and effective treatment option.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a treatment method with a history of thousands of years that aims to establish energy balance by applying fine needles to specific points on the body. When evaluated together with modern medicine, it offers effective results, particularly in pain management, stress, anxiety, migraine, and sleep problems.

Acupuncture applications activate the body’s own healing mechanisms and create a natural balance. It is also used as a supportive method in areas such as smoking cessation and weight control.
