HIP CALCIFICATION AND HIP PROSTHESIS

It is a disease that results in limitation of joint movements, severe pain and difficulty in walking after advanced arthritis with loss of cartilage tissue in the hip joint.

HIP PROSTHESIS (HIP ARTHROPLASTY):

Hip prosthesis (Hip Arthroplasty) is a good alternative for treatment in cases that do not respond to conservative treatments. As in all joint prosthesis applications, in hip prosthesis application; It aims to restore functionality and stability to the joint by replacing damaged surfaces with artificial materials and to eliminate existing pain.

CONDITIONS THAT CAN BE TREATED WITH HIP PROSTHESIS:

Coxarthrosis (Hip arthritis) Arthrosis developing after rheumatic diseases Developmental hip dislocation (Dysplastic Hip) Due to hip problems developed in childhood (Perthes, SCPE etc.)

HIP PROSTHESIS REVISION (HIPS REVISION ARTHROPLASTY):

Hip Prosthesis Revision is an operation to remove the existing prosthesis and apply a new prosthesis in patients who have previously had hip prosthesis or implant surgery, due to reasons such as loosening of the prosthesis, prosthesis/implant breakage, nonunion, pain, infection.
