Website Privacy Statement (EU)

This statement covers website visits and initial patient enquiries. It does not constitute consent to marketing.

Data controller

Data controller: Göksoy Sağlık Turizm İnşaat ve Tıbbi Yayıncılık Ticaret Anonim Şirketi · Doğu Mah. Nevbahar Sok. No:2 Pendik, İstanbul, Türkiye · info@bolgehospitalinternational.com

Website visits, cookies and analytics

We process technical website data, including IP address, device and browser information, visited pages and cookie preferences. Meta Pixel and Google Ads tags may process website activity and conversion events, subject to applicable consent requirements. Medical information submitted for a patient enquiry is handled through our patient communication and care processes, separately from advertising reporting.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, contact details, country/language, requested service, message, enquiry date and campaign/source reference through Meta (Facebook/Instagram) lead forms, Google Ads landing pages, website forms or messaging channels. Any medical information or documents you voluntarily share may contain sensitive health data.

Why and how we process data

If you send an enquiry, our authorised patient communication team may contact you by WhatsApp, phone or email solely about that enquiry. Tell us at any time if you no longer wish to be contacted. We do not use enquiries to send unrelated promotional messages. Enquiries are received through Meta Lead Ads, Google Ads landing pages, website forms or messaging channels and recorded in our CRM hosted in Türkiye.

Legal bases

Depending on the specific activity, applicable bases may include steps requested before a contract, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests where permitted. Health information requires a separate valid condition under Turkish KVKK Article 6 and, where GDPR applies, Article 9; we do not rely on ordinary legitimate interests alone to process medical data. We request separate consent where required.

Recipients and international access

Authorised hospital staff, the CRM technical provider and our contracted advertising agency (which may access Meta lead-form submissions but not our CRM or clinical files) may process relevant information for their assigned duties. Contracted patient-communication personnel working on our behalf in Spain and Italy use hospital-owned Turkish phone numbers and WhatsApp Business or CloudTalk to contact assigned patients; they record outcomes in the hospital CRM, do not independently share data with others and may access assigned health documents where authorised. CloudTalk may record calls. WhatsApp/Google backup services, Meta and Google may process data according to channel and configuration. Access from Spain and Italy and processing by service providers outside Türkiye may involve international transfers of personal data and are subject to applicable data protection requirements.

Advertising and consent

Enquiring does not itself mean you opt in to promotional messages or personalised advertising. Marketing messages, advertising cookies/pixels, conversion matching and retargeting are subject to their own lawful basis and, when required, separate consent and cookie choices.

Retention and contact follow-up

We retain records according to the purpose of processing, applicable legal requirements, and the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Unresolved enquiry follow-up is limited to a maximum of six months and only concerns the original enquiry; this is not a general record-deletion deadline. Information should be deleted, destroyed or anonymised when no valid basis for retention remains. Different statutory obligations may apply to subsequent clinical records and recorded calls.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent, and lodge a complaint with a competent authority. Rights under Turkish KVKK Article 11 also apply where relevant. Contact our Patient Relations team at info@bolgehospitalinternational.com.

You can manage eligible cookie preferences through the website cookie settings. For more information, see our Cookie Policy. Cookie Policy (EU)
